Happy Wednesday everyone! April is almost halfway over and it’s time for another hop with the Colour Combo group!
With Spring being in full swing, this month’s colors are perfect for spring crafting! For my project this month, I wanted to create a simple stamping project that a crafter of any skill level could create! I used the Humming Along stamp set from the Occasions catalog to showcase.
I started my project off with Pear Pizzaz cardstock base. Using the three colors of reinkers, watercolor paper, and an Aqua Pen, I blended the colors together to create the background. It’s a simple technique that creates an amazing background look!
I used the Braided Linen Thread and the Tailored Tag punch to finish off the project with So Saffron cardstock and Rhinestone Basic Jewels to accent the sentiment. For the final touch, a little bit of shimmer on the flower from Wink of Stella to add the perfect amount of shine!
